Week 3

Day 1

Monday 1st of july

Today I went with Zuran and Jenny on a project that I saw on friday with my boss, it's a garden behind a house and we had to re-do the whole ground with pavements.
It was very rainy so we had to stop working when it wass pouring too much, it was a little unpleasant.
I helped Zuran to put all the small stones for the border in the right place, then I helped Jenny to make the concreete for the stones, and I tried to put them in the concreete but it was a little bit hard !, after that we took our lunch.

In the afternoon we had to lift the soil so that it's easier to place the pavements, I did it with Zuran and then we all putted the pavements on top of it.

Day 2

Tuesday 2nd of july

Today I was with Jenny and Samir, we were supposed to go to the same place as last friday but it was too rainy, so we took all the material that we were needing and went to a project wich was supposeed to be finished but the delivery of the stones for the pavements was wrong and the right one was coming today.

During the morning we putteed on evacuation grilles and we putted on sand so that the floor is perfectly flat.
In the afternoon we continued to do the floor because the pavements weren't arrived.
At 15 the truck for the paveements arrived so we began to do the pavement with the stones, we took measurements to be sure that the stones were in the right places and we finished with this for today.

Day 3

Wednesday 3rd of july

Like every wednesdays in the morning I took the train with Océane and we went to shcool in Paderborn.
It's cool to have this little break during the week because we can relax and discover.
When we arrived we found Genia, she told us that it was the last day of school so that the students were not here anymore. So there wasn't any classes and she decided to make a little recap of our interships because it was the last time that we were seeing each others. We took a little time to ask her questions for our work about the internship and to thank her so much because it was her who found our internships and it was so well done ! She have been so sweet with us the whole time and it was sad to say goodbye to her.

In the afternoon we did some shopping and visited the city and the church. I met nice persons who were speaking english so it was very cool !
We stopped in a restaurant and ate a big crepe : delicious !

Then we decided to come back to Bad Driburg because we didn't have any other thing to do in Paderborn.
When we arrived in Reelsen I went to the company because they were doing a barbecue to celebrate because Michael became "officially" the boss of the company (at the biginning it was still his father).
It was giving good vibes and all the employees are always so sweet so it was cool.
Then at 6 pm I came back to the Pension.

Day 4

Thursday 4th of july

On that day I went with Rene and Lucas (I am not sure about how it's spelled sorry :( ).

It was a project a little far away from Reelsen, we had to do the terace next to a swimming pool. So during the day we putted the stones, flatten the soil and the sand under the pavement ... We also putted on some evacuation grilles and putted concrete under it. After we finished the part of the terace that we had to do we putted a kind of sand beetween the stones so that they don't move and then we cleaned everything.
We finished at 17 then I went back to the Pension.

Weekend

During that weekend I went back to France to surprise my boyfriend for his 20th birthday, it was cool but a long way of train.
So I don't really have anything to say :)
