Hi everyone,
On this page I am going to make a recap of my second week in Germany :
Day 1
Monday 24th of june
After a relaxing weekend I went back to work at 7am, with the same team as friday we went to the same project, it was the last day of this project, we had to do all the finish touches : - put on the rollers of grass, cut it and all of that - clean all the spaces we have done - put back the gates that we putted off to get inside of the garden - bring back all the engines to the company - water the grass ...
We finished at 4pm and took a little break with the owner of the house (she was so fun !)
We went back to the company and organised everythink that we brought back.
Day 2
Tuesday 25th of june
I went to a project a little bit far away from the company, it was in a riding stable, the owner was making a pool on her garden so we had to plant flowers on the outskirts of the terrace.
So in the morning we just puted the flowers and plants out of their pots, then we followed the plan to put hem in the right places.
In the afternoon we plantes the flowers and plants and then we putted sawdust all around the plants, wee had to put the pots on top of the flowers to don't destroy them when putting it.
Then we took all of our stuff back at the car because it was the last day and last steps for this project.
And we finished by cleaning the stones and the terrace.
Day 3
Wednesday 26th of june
We spent the afternoon in the city and theen we took the train back to Bad Driburg and came back home.
Day 4
Thursday 27th of june

During this time me and Sarah had to flatten the soil in front of the buildings, it was sloping because it is supposed to be an access for firefighters.
We first prepared the soil with the rake to put all the big rocks aways and then we putted on some soil preparator for the plants to grow easier. After lunch we putted the plants out of their pots and placed them on the right emplacement. We finished with planting.
Day 5
Friday 28th of june

After breakfast we began to put the stones at the border of the street. We took them with the excavator and with an object called curb tongs. I helped Jurk to put the stones and Jenny was doing the details and the concrete so that they don't move.
At midday Michael came to pick me up because me and Océane decided to go to Stuttgart that weekendd and the train was at 14.
We had a little time before so my boss shown me a project in Reelsen and he check out that everything was right.

During the afternoon we took the train and we finally arrived at 9pm in Stuttgart.
At the train station a german man who knew how to speak french very well helped us to find the way to go to our hotel, the we ate pizzas in a restaurant and walked to the hotel after.
Day 6
Saturday 29th of june
In the morning we woke up at 9 am got ready and then we walked to the Porsche Museum, but first we had to go buy a luch and a breakfast.

At 15 we went back to the hotel because we hadn't as much time as needed to do something else.
In the hotel there was a fitness room so we went there and worked out a little bit.
For diner we booked an uber eat because there were no restaurants near the hotel.

Day 7
Sunday 30th of june
Océane and me woke up at 9 am and got ready, we decided to go to the train station because we only had a few hours to stay in the city. There was a train at 11 so we planned to take this one. We took the subway from our hotel to the train station and then we bought sandwiches for lunch, then our train arrived and we left.
We arrived at 4 pm in Bad Driburg so Océane came to the pension with me and we ate together.
Recap of the week
During this week I got more familiar with thhe country and people, I learn so many things in the company and felt so well integrated with the teams. I began to pay more attention about how I was working and about how well I was doing the things that I had to do. I think it was a very important week for me to feel betterr in this new country. Now I feel like I have been living here for years and I discover new things that are so interesting. Germany is a very calm and clean country, I feel like it's important for germans to be well organised and to work as well as possible. It's so cool and relaxing to work and to live in a country like that because you are not afraid and you are surrounded by people who share good vibes and positive energy. It's such a great place !
