Week 4

Day 1

Monday 8th of july

On this day I went with Rene and Lucas to the same place as last time, we had to straighten the sand that we were putting under the pavement and then we had to put on the stones on top of it.
I also putted a drainage for water on the side of the terrace.
Then we had lunch, during the afternoon we continued and at the end of the day Rene let me drive the excavador to take over the soil that we didn't needed anymore, so I putted the soil into the electric wheelbarrow and then he brought it back to the car, then he finished for the hardest part because it was a little scaring for me.
It was the last day at this place because some pavement were missing and we had to wait for it to come.
So we putted everything in order and finished flattening the soil in front of the house.
During the route after work we saw the Folklorik Fest in Brakel wich is a little village near Reelsen.
Then we came back to the firm and we organised all of our stuff.

Day 2

Tuesday 9th of july

In the morning my boss told me that I was going with Franceska, Lucas and Hubert in Paderborn to cut a few edges.
So we took everything that we were needing in the car and then drove to the city.
First we went to the park next to the river and cutted a few edges on a parking, but unfortunnally there were bees so we had to be really carefull.
Then we went in the cloister of the cathedral to prune a few trees and to clean the flower beds.
The last place where we went was in a little garden next to the cathedral and we did the same thing so that the flower have more place and it looks better.
In the evening I went with my boss to check out a project because I needed a few picures for my school work.

Day 3

Wednesday 10th of july

On wednesday school was finished for german students so I went to work as usually.
I wass with Sarah, Franceska, Samir and Hubert and we had to trim the edges and refill it for a company's parking.
The boys cutted the edges and with the girls we planted the new little edges to fill the others.
Then I cleaned the boarder of the edges so that it looks better.
We did that the whole day and then went back to the company and threw away the natural waste.

Day 4

Thursday 11th of june

On thursday I went to Altenbecken with Jenny Rene, Lucas and Franceska, it was a private garden where we had to flatten the soil and to put on a few stones, so I helped Rene putting on the stones next to the terrace and then I carried a few barrows with Jenny and Lucas, and Yurk was fulling our barrows with the excavator.
Then I began to flatten the soil and to put on fertiliser, we also had to put on an underground fence so that the rodents don't come.
Then I went back to the company with Jenny because she had an appointment, and also because it was Rene's last day of work before the hollidays. I was so sad to know that II wil not see him anymore ...
So when Rene came back we took a picture together because it's with them that I worked most of the time and it was very emotionnal to leave them.
In the evening my mother arrived in Germany becausee it's her who was bringging us back to France.

Day 5

Friday 12th of july

It was my last day of work so I didn't do so many things but it was okay, we finishedd work at 12 am so then I went with my mom to pick up Oceane from her intership because her boss couldn't keep her longer.
Then we came back; had lunch and went to bed early because we were all tired.

Day 6

Saturday 13th of july

For the weekend my boss gently let us his car so that we were able to go where we wanted.*
So we decided to go to Bad Driburg because it was the fest but we had time before it bagan so we visited the Natural park wich was very beautiful.
Then around 4pm we went to the fest because my boss was participating to the parade. It wass very tradittionnal and I loved to see that. After thhe parade they were all going to a place on to of the city where there was snacks and bars and everrything for the party.
We ate a little saussage with fries and then my boss told us that we sould visit a very beautiful place, so he shown us how to get there and then we left. It was called Iburg wich means ruin, so we visited and then we saw the amazing view !
Then Oceane wanted to came back home so we let her at the Pension and with my mother we came back to the party wich was so fun !

Day 7

Sunday 14th of july

We woke up and took our breakfast in the morning and then we prepared everything because it was our last day in Germany and we had to take the plane. So my boss and his son came to pick us at the Pension, we had to say goodbye to his wife who was very kind and also to the owners of the Pension who were also sooooo adorable :( We arrived at the airport and took our plane, we had three stops during the way back and happilly we arrived in time, during the flight we saw the sunset, and it was awesome, it's crazy how you feel in those moments !
When we arrived in Lyon I took my luggage and we went back home.
