The feed used for animals especially cows consists of maize along with concentrates which are then fermented and used for the cows.

The best cow breed for milk production is Prim'Holstein which are generally 4 to 6 years old. They have black and white patches on their coat. These cows produce 32L milk/day and 8700L/lactation. These cows are bound with a belt in their neck that provides information about their location by GPS,tracks the distance they cover, the amount of grass they take in, milk production etc.

The dominant agricultural produce in the South of France is corn/mazie and barley. The land is covered by grasses like dactylon, pampam etc. Green manuring is practiced all around France especially in the South of France. Visiting to such a location with the combinaation of agricultural and veterainary farms was a great expperience.
