Erasmus a la sauce Slovène ! jour 5
Day 5 (Tuesday) : groom's day
8.00/9.00: We started our morning by releasing the horses onto the meadows, they were free to roam, it was a beautiful sight, then we picked up the droppings with the grooms (super nice!!!) in the paddocks where the mares and foals are so that they were clean for the evening.

10.00am: We then turned the stallions around in small paddocks so that they could let off steam outside.
11.00am: We went for lunch, and got a taste of Slovenian food.
12.00 pm: we visited the LIPICA museum, which was very interesting. Afterwards, we visited the former stables where one of Queen Elizabeth II's horses was kept.

1.00 pm: We fed the stallions in their boxes, then changed the paddocks by putting in new stallions to turn them around.
Then we left with Yanis (with the hat) who is our new tutor in Yany's absence (They're both lovely!).

2.00: We walked 4 horses around the estate (magnificent) with beautiful scenery and an impressive racecourse.
2.30pm: We loved visiting the site with Yanis and chatting with him, we even managed to teach him some French and he some Slovenian.
3.00 pm: We were lucky enough to be able to watch a dressage and caper show with the horses from the national stud farm. Unfortunately, filming and taking photos was forbidden, so we're posting a few photos we found on the internet.

See you tomorrow for our next day on this magnificent course!
