The microalgae facility at the Lycee Agricole Saint Christophe is equipped with different scientific equipment and advanced facilities. During the DEFIAA internship programme at the institute, I carried out different scientific interventions for microalgae in the laboratory.

Under the guidance of Madam ViaOrdorika, I have examined the characteristics of microalgae with the help of various scientific equipment namely an automatic centrifuge, stirrer, high-precision microscope, and others.

I was involved with the students to investigate the properties of the microalgae. I have discovered the structure of diatom algae.

A batch of students from Pau Agricultural campus was undergoing internship in the microalgae laboratory. It was a great experience to share the ideas and knowledge among them. I have presented my research work and specialization between the group. Then, we carried out the experiments on Chlorella algae. Madam ViaOrdorika is very kind and humble to help the students during their experimentation.

With the help of Phosphate and Nitrate indicator strips, we have identified the properties of the algae.

I possess a great learning and experience in the microalgae laboratory under Madam ViaOrdorika. I would liketo express my sincere gratitue to my institutional coordinator Mrs Sarah Memeteau, and Director Saldaqui Francois, DEFIAA Coordinator Mr. Christophe Groell, Mrs. Chantal Desprats and Dr. H. J. Shiva Prasad for providing this opportunity to learn the agricultural advancement in France.
