HONFLUER

Honfleur is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandie region in France. The people that inhabit Honfleur are called Honfleurais. It is especially known for its old port, characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted frequently by artists. The qrt galleries are the first thing that captured my mind at first sight and I am glad that I visited such a beautiful artistic town in my life. The another beauty that lies there is the Honfleur Harbour. The scenic view is just like a painting and often they were painted by various artist in different forms as we saw them in some of the galleries. For people visiting France and if you are in the Normandie region it's a place one should visit.
