During my stay in the Theza institution,France,I visited Colliure,nicknamed as the CITY OF PAINTERS with my colleagues and professors, it was a very mesmerising visit.
Collioure is the southern west of France about 20 minutes from Perpignan and about 26 km from the French-Spanish border.Colliure is an old town near a harbour and beach with the tall,ancient buildings.

Collioure is surrounded by the famous Pyrenees mountains. The town and it's environment was full of restaurants, wine shops and Caves(cellars).There are plenty of historic buildings to visit including,The Church of Notre Dame Des Anges and Century Chateau Royal de Collioure that leads out to a small church.

Colliure is a popular stop and really interesting for boating enthusiasts.When we visited,there were plenty of boats in the harbour.We interacted with french people about the products they were selling and clicked lot of pictures.Then we visited a famous and old cafe with a beautiful interior. here we saw everything from delicious bread and cheese to handmade goods and clothes.
Allover,the visit was amazing and one must definitely visit Collioure while coming to France.
