Slovakia - Tick Tock
The rain continued, and continued and still didn't stop. In fact it rained for hours and hours and we got soaking wet. To keep dry and take in some culture, we went to visit the clock museum in Vienna. The range of time pieces was astounding!

My only criticism is that the incredibly morose staff never smiled and followed me around as if I were planning Austria's biggest clock heist - I admit that wearing a soaking wet army suplus jacket may have made me look slightly suspicious
but the staff had clearly decided that I was decidedly dodgy and did not leave me in any rooms alone.

Ninety minutes later, we sailed into Slovakia; very, very tired. We found the lycee and was met upon our arrival by two night staff, who despite not speaking French or English (and I don't speak any Slovakian apart from "hello", which in all honesty doesn't get you too far in a conversation) very kindly showed us our alloted rooms and the cantine.

closed on a Sunday night but we found a good pizzeria in town which sold rather tasty pizzas (and gluten free).
We returned to the lycee and crashed out. I was sleeping like a baby by a quarter past ten.
