My Two months Journey of Lycee Agricole Beaulieu, Auch, France from G.B. Pant University, Pantnagar, India

Two months ago, I arrived in France at Toulouse–Blagnac Airport, travelling from New Delhi to begin my Service Civique volunteer mission. This moment marked not just a geographical transition, but the beginning of a deeply enriching human, cultural, and professional journey.

I was warmly welcomed by my tutor, Mme Chantal Desprats, whose kindness and guidance immediately set a positive tone for my mission. The following day, during my first visit to Lycée Agricole Beaulieu – Lavacant, Auch, we discussed my objectives, expectations, and fields of contribution—laying the foundation for a meaningful and structured civic engagement.
🌱 Professional Engagement in Sustainable Innovation

Throughout my mission, I have been actively involved in the Technological Hall, contributing to sustainability-oriented projects such as:

Comparative studies of composting systems for collective catering
Eco-responsible initiatives within the institution

Innovation and analysis of millet-based food products, combining nutrition, sustainability, and food technology
These experiences strengthened my skills in technical analysis, report writing, and structured presentations, all within a real educational and institutional framework.

🎓 Key Learning Outcomes

1. Research, Reporting & Communication
Developing comparative technical studies, preparing professional reports, and presenting findings to professors and students significantly enhanced my analytical thinking, documentation quality, and professional communication.
2. Intercultural Living & Adaptability
Vivre et travailler en France has been a powerful learning experience. It taught me discipline, autonomy, adaptability, and resilience, while shaping a broader global and intercultural perspective.
3. Civic Engagement & European Perspective
Participation in civic service exchanges, institutional visits, and educational activities allowed me to better understand European civic values, public education systems, and community-driven sustainability actions.
