I am Prerna Sharma, a student of Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar India.

I participated in the DEFIAA Student Exchange Internship Program 2026—an academic collaboration between India and France. As part of this prestigious international program, I completed a one-month internship at AgriCampus66, where I gained valuable global exposure in agricultural and fisheries sciences.
During my internship, I actively engaged in a variety of academic and practical activities, including attending specialized classes, performing microbiology laboratory practices, and studying horticulture and sustainable agriculture. I also visited fish farms, which enhanced my practical understanding of aquaculture systems and modern farming techniques.

Beyond academics, I participated in cultural exchange activities, representing Indian traditions and learning about diverse cultures. Interacting with students and faculty members from different backgrounds helped me build global connections and improve my communication and interpersonal skills.

In addition, I explored the historic monuments and rich cultural heritage of France, gaining a deeper appreciation of its history, architecture, and lifestyle. This experience allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.
