Interning in France: A Journey Beyond Borders
Visit to French Embassy, Delhi
We all visited French embassy in Delhi before departing to France on 10 february 2026. It was a moment of pleasure for all of us as we were whole-heartedly welcomed by Ms. Monique Tran.

EIFFEL TOWER

we arrived Paris on 8th March, 2026. We were welcomed by Chantal Ma’am and Shivam at the airport. A visit to Eiffel Tower was planned for us. The view was nothing short of breathtaking—the tower rises majestically, framed by fountains and greenery.
We received a warm welcome at Sees, from Mr. Christophe Groell and Mrs. Chantal Desprats. The next day, we were briefed on our schedules and tasks, followed by a basic French lesson. We learned self-introduction in French and recorded an introductory video

We visited Sées Cathedral in Sées with our group, guided by Chantal Ma’am and Christophe Sir.
The trip was educational and enjoyable, where we explored its beautiful Gothic architecture and learned about its history.

HOLI CELEBRATION
We created drawings and
artwork about Holi with French students participating in the DEFFIA program, sharing its cultural significance with them. Later, we celebrated Holi together with colors, music, and joy, making it a truly wonderful experience.

During the gala night, we celebrated the fusion of French and Indian cultures. We taught lively Indian dances, while our French hosts introduced us to Macarena and traditional French dance. The evening was filled with music, joy, and unforgettable moments, with Mr.
Christophe’s energy and guitar
being the highlight of the night.


Enjoying meal at Canteen

We began our first day at Bio Qualm Lab with cookie making session. It was a unique experience blending science and culinary skills, allowing us to bond while learning new techniques.

We had an interactive interview session with Maëva Ayroles and Julia Botholussi, who went to India under the DEFIAA program in 2018, and shared their experiences with us.

We had a practical session at the technological hall with Céline Lacoste and the BioQualim students. We learned and participated in preparing beans, pasta, and ketchup, gaining hands-on experience in food processing.

We visited a yogurt factory, where we had the chance to see the entire process of making both plain and flavored yogurt, gaining a deeper understanding of the production methods behind these delicious treats.

We had a session with Prof. Alexander and Prof. Suzane Jha, where we learned about soil and biology and made a terrarium. We discussed about different Agriculture practices in India .

We visited Trigones near Auch with BTS Bioqualim 2 and Chantal Maam, where we learned about waste separation and sorting into special bins.

We gave a presentation about Indian culture, religion, festivals, geography and food and got to know a lot about, France and Spain in Ms. Odorico Sylvie class.

• In the afternoon, we visited a sunflower oil production company in Gimont. There, we observed the process of oil extraction from sunflower seeds, including cleaning, pressing, and refining. We also learned about quality control and packaging.
• They uses high oleic sunflower seed variety for oil.

The next day, we traveled to Lourdes with Melissa, where we explored the stunning church, prayed, and admired the serene river. We also collected some holy water as a cherished keepsake.


We participated in a henna workshop, alongside the students. It was a fun and engaging experience as we explained the cultural significance and reasons behind applying henna, while everyone enjoyed creating beautiful designs.
