DEFIAA 2023 student exchange programme started with my first ever international travel. Filled with different emotions, the journey started from Mumbai to Istanbul and finally to Barcelona. With a group of the most outstanding people the journey was unforgettable. Finally, upon landing at Barcelona on 4th March, 2023 we were welcomed with open arms by the most amazing Mr. Christophe Groell and Mrs. Chantal Desprats.

France, the land of cheese, bread and wine was a new experience with a huge language barrier but France proved that if the heart connects, language doesn't matter; With the most warm hearted people, the DEFIAA journey started with a balst.

Taking French lectures, then, interacting with French students, professors gave me a hang of the language, self confidence and more importantly, new friends.
