Today was quite a busy day. I started by cutting green peppers, a meticulous but necessary task. Then, I added oil to jars containing marinated trout along with olives, carrots, and pickles. It was delicate work that required lots of attention to detail to make sure everything was preserved properly.
The day was made even more interesting because my internship supervisor didn't speak a word of English. This made communication a bit difficult and made time seem to go slower. Despite the language barrier, we managed to get our task done through gestures and a lot of patience. It was an enriching experience and a good exercise in cooperation and cross-cultural understanding.
All in all, it was a productive day filled with new experiences and challenges. Working with someone from a different cultural background pushed me to adapt and find new ways to communicate, making the day both long and rewarding.
